The Southwest Washington Workforce Development Council has hired Tracy Schreiber as an employer services manager, the nonprofit said Wednesday.

Schreiber will research industry sectors to determine likely areas of growth in job openings and skills, and create strategies to match resources to employer needs. She will also provide workforce development outreach and coordination to employers in Clark, Cowlitz and Wahkiakum counties.

Schreiber’s professional experience includes more than eight years of work for nonprofits. She’s held positions at the Washington State Arts Alliance Foundation, Barrington Stage Company, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and others.

She has a bachelor’s degree in dance from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle and has done post-graduate work in economics and accounting.
