Girls basketball: Ridgefield 60, Stevenson 37

Bailey Hooghkirk scored 30 points as the Spudders won for the first time this season.

Hooghkirk made six 3-pointers, including three early in the third quarter to spark Ridgefield to a big second half. The game was tied 23-23 at halftime, but the Spudders outscored the Bulldogs 22-8 in the third quarter.

Hayley Hughes grabbed nine rebounds for Ridgefield (1-3).

Taryn Midland had 15 points for Stevenson (0-1).
