Letter: View from other side changing color

The Columbian
Published: December 12, 2014, 12:00am

I have wanted to move from Portland to Vancouver for the past five years. That’s why I subscribe to the excellent Columbian. But I cannot do so with Clark County Commissioner David Madore and his gang in charge, with an attack on everything and everybody who’s decent and law-abiding.

His chaos persists, wasting time, good people and money. To me, he doesn’t represent the intelligence, honesty, lack of pettiness and common sense of Abe Lincoln’s party. He seeks total power at any cost. To do what? Nothing.

Destruction? Build a bridge to nowhere? One of his fellow Republicans did that in Alaska. It made a few guys extra rich.

In recognition of the severe climate change, I have used public transportation since 2004. I love the coordinated time-savers of bus and MAX.
