A nine-month investigation into the trafficking of heroin and prescription medications ended last week with the arrest of two Skamania County residents.

Jared Hinzman, 25, of North Bonneville and Katherine Gregory, 53, of Stevenson were arrested Thursday and booked into the Skamania County Jail.

Hinzman was arrested on suspicion of three counts of delivery of heroin and Gregory was arrested on suspicion of two counts each of delivery of marijuana and delivery of prescription medication.

“This is an ongoing investigation and more arrests will be forthcoming in the next few weeks,” Undersheriff Dave Cox said in a press release issued today. “Countless hours were spent in the cities of North Bonneville and Stevenson, and the surrounding areas to finalize this investigation. We will continue to do whatever it takes to find these individuals that deal in narcotics and bring them before the courts,” he said.
