Boys basketball: Skyview 59, Thomas Jefferson 55

Marcus Lord had 20 points and seven rebounds and Jason Chaney came off the bench to score 13 to lead the Storm to win the Thomas Jefferson Holiday Classic in Federal Way.

“It was really nice to play two 4A teams on the road and come away with wins,” Skyview coach Matt Gruhler said. “I think these games really helped pull us together as a team, and it was nice to play well against team we might see later on in the playoffs.”

Terran Scruggs added seven point and four assists.
