Authorities are asking the public to help find a 16-month-old girl, Ella Jean Perigo, who’s been missing for more than a couple of weeks. She’s believed to be with her parents, Charles M. Olsen-Perigo, 28, and Heidi L. Wilson, 31.

Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Alex Schoening said Child Protective Services contacted the sheriff’s office, concerned about the baby because in the past her parents have been homeless and unable to meet the baby’s basic needs. The family missed a scheduled visit with CPS and couldn’t be found.

“This is not a criminal situation,” Schoening said. “We’re mainly concerned about the welfare of the child given the weather and the parents’ track record.”

The couple may be associated with a burgundy Honda hatchback and is known to frequent homeless shelters, the sheriff’s office said. All three are considered missing persons and may not know anyone is looking for them. Anybody who knows Ella Jean Perigo’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
