Vancouver schools offers iTech Prep tour

Steve Webb, superintendent of Vancouver Public Schools, will host a free patron tour of Vancouver iTech Preparatory from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 23. The tour will begin and end at the Bates Center for Educational Leadership, 2921 Falk Road.

Transportation will be provided between the middle school campus at the Jim Parsley Education, Family and Community Center and the high school campus at Washington State University Vancouver.

ITech Preparatory focuses on science, technology, engineering and math for students in grades 6 through 12. Visitors will see how the school integrates art and design principles into students’ learning.

After the tour, guests can enjoy an optional student musical performance and a $4 lunch prepared by district culinary arts students.
