The Board of Freeholders has canceled its Saturday meeting because of hazardous weather conditions.

The meeting has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. The meeting will be in the sixth-floor hearing room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

The decision was made to prevent freeholders, and the public, from commuting in dangerous conditions. Ice and snow are forecast through the weekend.

At the meeting, freeholders are scheduled to continue shaping a draft charter they plan to present to voters in November.

The board is also scheduled to meet at the same time and place on Saturday, Feb. 22.
