Thursday’s snowfall led to the postponement of Clark County high school sports events through Friday.

The snow also forced the rescheduling of district wrestling and gymnastics events scheduled for Saturday.

3A Greater St. Helens League basketball games scheduled for Thursday and Friday will be played Monday with any tiebreaker games on Tuesday. First-round district games have been moved from Tuesday to Wednesday. Second-round games set for Wednesday will be played Thursday. The district title games will be played as scheduled next Friday.

The 4A district wrestling tournament is postponed for Saturday and is now going to be held Monday and Tuesday at Camas.

Saturday’s 3A district wrestling at Hudson’s Bay High School will instead be held Tuesday at Kelso.

Saturday’s girls sub-regional wrestling tournament at Kalama High School has been postponed. It will now be held Monday at Ilwaco.

A decision on Saturday’s 4A and 3A district gymnastic meets was expected Friday.

State bowling

The state bowling championships at Narrows Plaza Bowl in University Place will proceed as scheduled Friday and Saturday.

Battle Ground is favored to repeat as 4A state champion. Skyview’s Madison Crockett is the defending 4A state individual champion. Battle Ground’s Wylicia Faley won in 2012.

The individual titles will be handed out at 4 p.m. Friday, and the team titles after baker games on Saturday morning.

Each day’s results will be posted at wiaa.com.
