Girls basketball: Centralia 58, Washougal 47

Eight 3-pointers helped the Tigers end the Panthers season as Centralia prevailed in the Class 2A District 4 game played at Mark Morris High School in Longview.

Centralia led by 13 after one quarter, and had a 14-point lead entering the fourth quarter. Three players scored in double figures for the Tigers.

Alyssa Blankenship scored 15 points for Washougal, which finished its season with a record of 11-9.

Jolynn Wenick grabbed 10 rebounds for the Panthers. Megan Sharp, the only senior in the Washougal starting lineup, finished with eight points.

While Centralia scored 24 points from 3-pointers, Washougal finished 2 for 18 from 3-point distance.

CENTRALIA — Pannkuk 0, Crews 20, Gilmore 9, Cline 2, Hall 14, Blaser 2, Rico 0, Duffy 0, Pocklington 3, Rameriz 0, Nugent 11, Buchanan 0. Totals 21 (8) 8-13 58.
