ZURICH (AP) — Eight NHL players have been included on Switzerland’s roster for next month’s Sochi Olympics, including Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Mark Streit and Anaheim Ducks goaltender Jonas Hiller.

Hiller is one of two NHL goaltenders picked for the team, along with Reto Berra of the Calgary Flames. Tobias Stephan, who played just under a dozen games for the Dallas Stars in 2007-08 and 2008-09, is the third.

Raphael Diaz of the Montreal Canadiens and Yannick Weber of the Vancouver Canucks are also part of the Swiss defense, along with Roman Josi of the Nashville Predators.

Up front, Nino Niederreiter of the Minnesota Wild and Damien Brunner of the New Jersey Devils were the only NHL forwards picked. Missing was Sven Baertschi of the Flames, who could be an injury replacement.
