WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Dave Dudzinski scored 16 points to lead Holy Cross over Colgate 73-64 on Wednesday.

The Crusaders (7-8, 1-2 Patriot League) were 7 of 16 from beyond the arc. Justin Burrell added 13 points and Malcolm Miller had 11 points and eight rebounds.

Colgate (6-8, 0-3) was led by Austin Tillotson with 20 points, while Damon Sherman-Newsome and Luke Roh chipped in with 10 points apiece.

Holy Cross held Colgate scoreless though the first 5:13 of the game until Tillotson’s layup at 14:47 made it 9-2. The Raiders took the lead at 17-16 following another Tillotson layup, but a Dudzinski 3-pointer stretched the lead to eight and Holy Cross took a seven-point advantage at the intermission.

Colgate led as late as the 10:55 mark of the second half, but Holy Cross used a 10-0 run — including a Miller trey — to take over the game.
