San Francisco pull away in OT, tops Pacific 81-72

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Avry Holmes finished with 18 points and eight assists, both career highs, as San Francisco pulled away from Pacific in overtime for an 81-72 win Thursday night.

Matt Glover added 16 points, nine rebounds and five assists for San Francisco (11-6, 4-1 West Coast Conference). Cole Dickerson finished with 14 points and eight boards.

USF, which came into the game ranked tenth in the WCC in opponent’s field goal percentage (46.4 percent) outscored Pacific 18-9 in the extra frame and allowed the Tigers to shoot just 32 percent (18 of 57) from the field.

Andrew Bock scored 17 points to pace Pacific (9-6, 0-4). Tony Gill added 15 and seven rebounds while Ross Rivera scored 14 and Trevin Harris chipped in with 10 points.

USF and Pacific have played 95 times, with Pacific now holding a 60-35 advantage, dating back to the 1911-12 season.
