NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Denzel Livingston scored 29 points in a battle of Southland Conference newcomers, as Incarnate Word beat New Orleans 78-55 on Saturday.

Livingston made nine of his 13 field goal attempts, had five assists and four steals for Incarnate Word (13-2, 1-1). Kyle Hittle added 19 and the Cardinals shot 50.9 percent.
