North Dakota State dominates IUPUI 87-64

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Trayvon Wright made 10 of 14 field goal attempts, totaling a career-high 24 points as North Dakota State overwhelmed IUPUI 87-64 Saturday.

Taylor Braun had 16 points, Mike Felt and Marshall Bjorklund added 12 each and Kory Brown had 11 points with 10 rebounds for North Dakota State (12-5, 1-1 Summit League).

IUPUI (5-14, 0-2) led 19-14 with 8:17 remaining in the first half. Felt then made two consecutive 3-point shots and three free throws to move the Bison ahead 23-19 at the 6:22 mark. They led 34-31 at the break. Ian Chiles made a layup to start the second half and closed the gap to 35-33. The Bison went on a 10-2 run to lead 45-35 and were never threatened again.

The Bison made 32 of 63 field goal attempts, including 8 of 14 3-point shots.

Donovan Gibbs and Marcellus Barksdale had 14 points each to lead IUPUI.
