Oral Roberts dominates Central Arkansas 93-80

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Shawn Glover had 21 points, 11 rebounds and blocked five shots as Oral Roberts dominated Central Arkansas 93-80 Saturday night.

Bobby Word tied his career high of 20 points, making 4-of-5 3-point attempts. Korey Billbury had 16 points and D.J. Jackson added 12 with 5 assists for ORU (8-8, 2-1 Southland).

Central Arkansas (4-10, 1-2) was ahead 10-9 at the 15:54 mark, but the Golden Eagles went on a 20-3 run to lead 29-13 with 7:49 remaining in the first half. ORU led 53-32 at the break, and the Golden Eagle’s 53 points are the most they have scored in a half this season.

ORU easily won the rebound battle, pulling down 50 compared to 29 for Central Arkansas, and had 34 points in the paint, compared to 26 for the Bears.

LaQuentin Miles led the Bears with 29 points. DeShone McClure contributed 25 points, making 6-of-7 3-point attempts.
