BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Sabres activated forward Cody Hodgson from injured reserve, one of several moves by new general manager Tim Murray

Buffalo also recalled Brayden McNabb from Buffalo’s AHL affiliate in Rochester and sent defensemen Rasmus Ristolainen and Johan Larsson down.

Center Mikhail Grigorenko has been loaned to the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the latest move in the former first round draft pick’s tumultuous career.

Ristolainen and Grigorenko both recently returned from the World Junior Hockey Championships in Malmo, Sweden. Ristolainen scored the winning goal in overtime for Finland in the Final.

Murray was hired Thursday as the sixth general manager in franchise history. Buffalo next plays Sunday evening in Washington.
