Skeete leads Buffalo past Eastern Michigan 76-66

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Jarryn Skeete scored nine of his season-high 19 points in the final six minutes to lead Buffalo to a 76-66 victory Saturday over Eastern Michigan.

Skeete’s three-point play gave Buffalo (8-4, 2-0 Mid-American) its first lead of the second half, 56-55 with 5:26 to play. Mike Talley made one of two from the line for Eastern Michigan to tie the game at 56. Skeete answered with a 3-pointer, fueling a 20-10 run by the Bulls to cap the scoring.

Skeete finished 5 of 11 from the field and hit four 3-pointers. Will Regan and Jarod Oldham each scored 11 points. Javon McCrea added 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Bulls.

Glenn Bryant scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds for Eastern Michigan (9-6, 1-1). Da’Shonte Riley had 11 rebounds to lead the Eagles.
