LONDON (AP) — Double Olympic long-distance champion Mo Farah will compete in the London Marathon in April — and this time he’s planning to run the full distance.

Farah ran the first half of the 2013 race to assess the course and opposition in preparation for his full marathon debut on April 13.

Farah, who won the 5,000 and 10,000 meters at the London Olympics in 2012 and last year’s world championships, says “I had another great year on the track in 2013, but the marathon is my main focus for this year.”

The British runner is part of a star-studded elite men’s field announced on Tuesday that includes world record-holder Wilson Kipsang, Olympic and world champion Stephen Kiprotich and reigning champion Tsegaye Kebede.
