Boys basketball: Battle Ground 54, Heritage 37

The visiting Tigers built a 14-point halftime lead on their way to the Class 4A Greater St. Helens League win.

Jamie Ford had 15 points and Devin Johnson 12 to top a balanced Battle Ground offense. The Tigers made 25 field goals to 13 for the Timberwolves. Battle Ground outrebounded Heritage 38-21, with 20 of those boards coming on the offensive end.

Amel Mekic scored a game-high 16 ppoints for Heritage.
