Girls basketball: La Center 56, King’s Way Christian 18

Katie Whitten got the Wildcats off on the right foot in the first quarter, scoring all 13 of her team’s points.

Whitten would continue to have a solid night, finishing with 25 points and 12 steals.

Alicen Smith collected four steals to go with nine points, and Katie Hebdon grabbed eight rebounds to help La Center get the win.
