The Clark County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team was deployed to the Portland area Wednesday morning as area police agencies served multiple search warrants seeking to arrest suspected gang members.

The operations are part of an ongoing investigation into Portland street gangs, according to a news release from Beth Anne Steele, an FBI spokeswoman in Portland. Federal and local officers from every county in the metro area were involved. None of the raids apparently took place in Clark County.

No additional information was released on Wednesday.
