Georgia State rolls by UALR 99-73

ATLANTA (AP) — R.J. Hunter scored 25 points and Manny Atkins had 22 points as Georgia State remained unbeaten in conference play with a 99-73 win over Arkansas-Little Rock on Saturday.

Georgia State (12-6, 5-0 Sun Belt Conference) shot 53.1 percent from the field as all five starters reached double figures.

The Panthers jumped to a 59-29 lead at halftime, led by 15 first-half points from Atkins. Georgia State scored the first 11 points of the game and shot 68.8 percent in the half while UALR (9-9, 4-2) turned the ball over 12 times.

Atkins had five steals in the game and Curtis Washington contributed 13 points. Ryan Harrow scored 12 and Devonta White had 11. Harrow and White each had seven assists.

James White scored 23 points to lead UALR and Will Neighbour added 18.

Georgia State has won its last nine contests, the second-longest winning streak in program history.
