BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) — Marcus Tyus scored 13 of his 16 points in the first half as Nebraska-Omaha rolled to an 80-71 victory Saturday over South Dakota State.
Tyus scored Nebraska-Omaha’s first seven points to give the Mavericks a 7-6 lead, and they led the rest of the way. South Dakota State could only pull within four points, 48-44 with 13:02 remaining.
