ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Peter Hooley scored 17 points to lead Albany over Binghamton 66-60 on Monday.

Albany (10-9, 4-2 American East) got 12 points from Dallas Ennema and 10 from Gary Johnson. The Great Danes shot 48 percent from the floor and made 7 of 16 from beyond the arc, out-rebounding the Bearcats

Binghamton was led by Nick Madray and Marlon Beck II, who both scored 16 points. Yosef Yacob added 12 while Karon Waller chipped in with 10.

Albany scored the first eight points of the game, but Binghamton inched back to tie at 25 before settling for a 3-point halftime deficit.

A pair of Waller free throws and Yacob’s 3-pointer drew Binghamton to within one with 30 seconds left at 61-60, but Albany sank 5 of 6 free throws in the last 22 seconds to ice the win.
