PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Recently retired two-time Cy Young Award winner Roy Halladay and former closer Brad Lidge will be among five guest instructors for the Philadelphia Phillies at spring training.

Other former players in the group include radio broadcaster Larry Andersen, a relief pitcher on the 1983 and 1993 National League Championship teams; special assignment scout Dave Hollins, an All-Star third baseman for the ’93 Phillies; and former broadcaster Gary Matthews, MVP of the 1983 NLCS.

Halladay retired in December after four seasons with the Phillies. Lidge was 48 for 48 in save chances during the Phillies’ 2008 World Series championship season.

The guest instructors will assist manager Ryne Sandberg and his coaching staff.
