Wright State rolls by Milwaukee 73-57

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Jerran Young scored 19 points, leading Wright State in a 73-57 win over Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Wright State (13-9, 5-2 Horizon League) jumped to a 39-21 halftime lead. The Raiders scored the first five points of the game and opened on a 10-1 run, led by five points from Cole Darling during the stretch. Milwaukee (13-8, 3-4) could not recover and was unable to reduce the deficit to fewer than five points the rest of the way.

Young was 7 of 10 from the field, helping the Raiders to a 45.1 percent field goal percentage. AJ Pacher added 12 for Wright State and Darling had 11 points along with eight rebounds.

The Raiders were 22 of 25 from the free-throw line compared with 14 of 24 for the Panthers.

Kyle Kelm had 16 points to lead Milwaukee. Jordan Aaron added 15 points.
