Shots were fired early Saturday morning in two armed robberies about an hour apart, both involving a light-green car.

o At 3:41 a.m, a light-green sedan stopped near a man walking alone near East 30th and V streets. Four teenagers surrounded him and demanded his wallet and money. One of the teens stepped behind the victim and fired a handgun in the air. The group was last seen driving west on East 32nd Street.

o At 4:57 a.m., the lone clerk at the 7-Eleven in the 5600 block of East Fourth Plain Boulevard saw four males enter the store. A white male brandished a chrome-colored pistol. While he was taking money from the store register, he fired one round into the floor. When the four fled the store, a witness saw them get into a light-green car. A surveillance camera caught an image of one of the robbers.

Police found a shell casing at each of the locations.

Vancouver police ask that anyone with information about the robberies call Det. Wally Stefan at 360-487-7425.

Vancouver police are searching for this suspect, who they say was in a 7-Eleven early Saturday morning at the time of an armed robbery.
