Patrons invited to tour Evergreen schools

Evergreen Public Schools offers free community tours to visit an elementary, middle and high school plus a program at the Clark County Skills Center. The 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. tours begin and end at the Skills Center, 12200 N.E. 28th St. Patrons are bused to schools.

Tours end with lunch prepared by students enrolled in the Skills Center’s Culinary Arts program. There is no charge for lunch or transportation.

Tour dates are:

o Wednesday, Jan. 29: Evergreen High School, Pacific Middle School, Hearthwood Elementary School and Clark County Skills Center. Contact Kathryn Garcia-Stackpole at 360-604-4088. Sign up online at www.evergreenps.org/.

o Friday, April 4: (Spanish translator provided) Mountain View High School, Wy’east Middle School, Marrion Elementary School and Skills Center. Contact Mariana Noakes at 360-604-4029. Register by April 1 or sign up online at www.evergreenps.org/.
