Milwaukie chase ends in crash on railroad tracks

MILWAUKIE, Ore. — A police chase early Monday morning ended in a crash on railroad tracks in Milwaukie.

KOIN reports the driver fled a traffic stop then hit a power pole near Myrtle and Campbelll Street.

The crash knocked out power to the immediate area and damaged Union Pacific tracks, affecting freight and Amtrak trains.
