Girls basketball: Ridgefield 50, Washougal 46

The Ridgefield Spudders, battling to find a win this season in the Class 2A Greater St. Helens League, got one Monday night with a clutch performance in the fourth quarter.

Shannon Boyle scored 10 of her 21 points in the fourth quarter, leading the Spudders to the win.

Ridgefield, which trailed by seven going into the final period, made 10 of 12 free throws in the closing quarter.

Brooke Kates added 15 points for the Spudders.

Alyssa Blankenship scored 11 points for Washougal. Megan Sharp added 10.
