Jamie Ford hit a big 3-pointer late then added a couple of free throws to help the Tigers hold off a late Skyview charge.

Colby Cahoon hit three 3-pointers in the first half to help Battle Ground take a 31-21 halftime lead. The Tigers pulled down seven offensive rebounds in the third quarter to maintain the lead.

But the Storm rallied to tie the game 46-46 with 1:30 left.

Skyview’s defense forced Battle Ground to attempt a fall-away 3-pointer as the shot clock was about to expire, but Ford knocked it down.

After Ford hit two late free throws, Skyview worked for a last shot, but it was off the mark. Ford had 12 points to lead the Tigers.

Ben Spies had 14 of his 16 points in the second half. Marcus Lord had 14 points and five rebounds for Skyview.
