Boys basketball: Washougal 62, Ridgefield 48

Austin Tran scored 13 of his game-high 27 points in the fourth quarter to help the Panthers grab their first 2A GSHL win this season.

Washougal led 39-28 heading into the fourth. The visiting Spudders cut the deficit to four points, but Washougal maintained its lead by hitting free throws. Tran was 8 for 8 from the foul line in the fourth.

Noah Prangley and Patrick Jones each had nine points and eight rebounds for Washougal (4-12, 1-4).

Josh Mason scored 19 points to lead Ridgefield (10-6, 2-3).
