Esther Short — Two local artists are showcasing their talents at Vancouver City Hall until the end of March. Four of Ruth Lantz’s abstract paint-and-photo pieces are in the building’s lobby, while 10 black-and-white landscape photographs by Dale Strouse are in the Aspen Room on the main floor and in conference rooms on the second floor. Lantz is an adjunct professor at Washington State University Vancouver. Strouse also teaches at WSUV and is the gallery committee chair for the North Bank Artists Gallery. City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St., is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
