Girls basketball: Battle Ground 53, Heritage 20

Battle Ground 53, Heritage 20 — Behind pressure defense and 27 points from Emily Griffith, Battle Ground was able to defeated Heritage on Friday night.

The high pressure defense by Battle Ground led to lots of transition points for Griffith which then sparked the rest of her offensive game. Griffith had three steals to go along with her big scoring night.

Audrey Kangas led Battle Ground with 10 rebounds to go along with three points off the bench.

Ashley Edwards led Heritage with seven points.
