Letter: Obey the laws of nature

The Columbian
Published: July 10, 2014, 12:00am

Why are we surprised with the massive problems facing our country these days? Terrorism, immigration issues, economic disasters, and on and on. Some say it’s all the government’s fault, this administration or that politician. The truth is a society will get leaders they deserve. A just, God-fearing and morally strong citizenry will get just, God-fearing, morally strong leaders.

There are universal laws of nature that must be obeyed if we hope to live with the blessings of nature. A society that violates the natural law will reap consequences for that violation. Google “sins crying to heaven for justice” and examine your own conscience. Above all we need to pray for help to obey the laws of nature.
