If you want to commemorate a loved one, memorialize a special event or just demonstrate your support of Vancouver parks, consider buying an inscribed brick for Propstra Square, the brick plaza around the bell tower in the southeast corner of Esther Short Park.

The Parks Foundation sells inscribed bricks each summer, and the latest deadline is approaching: July 18. Bricks are $100 each with space available for 18 characters per brick, including spaces. Proceeds benefit the Esther Short Park Beautification Fund and pay for flowers and plantings in the park.

For more information contact the Parks Foundation at 360-487-8370 or email cheri.martin@www.parksfoundation.us.
