BATTLE GROUND — Drivers traveling on state Highway 502 through the intersection with Northeast 29th Avenue in Battle Ground should expect traffic delays and lane closures through the weekend.

Rotschy Inc., a contractor for the Washington State Department of Transportation, will excavate and level the roadway from Saturday into Sunday morning in preparation for paving at the intersection.

Drivers should expect single-lane closures and flagging on both roadways, with up to 10-minute delays, through 7 a.m. Sunday morning.

Paving at the intersection is set for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday. During paving, drivers should expect more single-lane closures and up to 10-minute delays.
