Nahomi Kawasumi had a goal and two assists as the Seattle Reign blanked Portland Thorns FC, 5-0, in National Women’s Soccer League play Sunday at Memorial Stadium in Seattle.

Sydney Leroux, Megan Rapinoe and Kim Little also scored for Seattle.

Leroux gave the Reign all the scoring they would need in the fourth minute, and Little’s unassisted goal in the third minute of stoppage time poured salt in Portland’s wound.

Hope Solo made six saves for the shutout.
