Occupants of a motor home escaped without injury as it was destroyed in a fire late Monday night on state Highway 503.

Clark County Fire & Rescue responded to the incident at about 11:30 p.m. near Northeast 321st Street and rapidly contained the flames, agency spokesman Tim Dawdy said.

“Unfortunately, it was a complete loss,” he said.

Traffic on the highway was disrupted for about an hour, Dawdy said.

The agency was assisted by firefighters from Clark County Fire District 10.
