PORTLAND — A 33-year-old woman accused of mugging elderly people for their wallets and purses was sentenced Monday in Portland to seven years in prison.
Tiffany Denise Smith was arrested in January and convicted of burglary, robbery and theft.
KGW reports Smith has a record of drug use and prostitution arrests. Police say she followed victims from grocery stores and her purse-snatching victims included women who were 89 and 90 years old.
