VISTA application workshop sessions set for June 24-25

The AmeriCorps VISTA program of Southwest Washington is seeking project applications for the 2014-2015 service year.

Five VISTA positions will be awarded for anti-poverty projects within focus areas of economic opportunity, education, veterans and military families, and healthy futures.

Nonprofit and public agencies in Clark, Cowlitz, Klickitat, Skamania and Wahkiakum counties are encouraged to send a representative to attend one application workshop, where all relevant information will be covered.

Application workshops are set for 9:30 a.m. to noon June 24 and 1:30 to 4 p.m. June 25. Both sessions will be at the Clark County Public Works Operations Center, 4700 N.E. 78th St.
