A motorist crashed into an east Vancouver salon and day spa this afternoon, but no serious injuries were reported.
The accident was reported at 2:09 p.m. at 16219 S.E. 12th St., a multi-tenant commercial building along the city’s busy Southeast 164th Avenue corridor.
The motorist apparently lost control of a Chrysler PT Cruiser and smashed through the front window of the Essentials Day Spa, one of several businesses in the building along with a physical therapy firm and a financial services office.
Vancouver’s police and fire departments responded to assist.
