Hazel Dell — The Diamonds in the Ruff 4-H dog club recently lent a hand to the Hazel Dell Animal Hospital’s mission to help provide free veterinary care to animals of local homeless people. Club members donated a number of items — including collapsible bowls, leashes and nearly 200 pounds of animal food — to veterinarian David Slocum. They also gave travel-sized toiletries for the homeless.
