The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In March, the Chemical Dependency Professional Program ended probation for chemical dependency professional trainee Tabitha Michele-Marie Zdunich.

In March, the Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Systems Program ended conditions on the credential of paramedic Ronnie D. Stewart.

In March, the Psychology Board charged psychologist Christopher K. Johnson with unprofessional conduct. Allegations are that Johnson didn’t complete an evaluation of a minor client, didn’t respond to requests for the client’s records from other mental health professionals, and didn’t return telephone calls from the client’s mother.

In April, the Nursing Commission charged registered nurse Shawnna L. Dixon with being unable to practice with reasonable skill and safety. A physician’s examination indicated that Dixon’s medication use could affect her ability to safely care for patients.
