Vancouver police are investigating an armed robbery at the iQ Credit Union near Westfield Vancouver mall.

A white male entered the bank, 7017 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive, at about 12:10 p.m. Saturday and robbed the bank at gun point, according to Vancouver police.

The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, Vancouver police said in a news release.

Multiple people reporting the robbery told dispatchers a man wearing a black ski mask and long-sleeved blue shirt displayed a weapon and left the bank on foot with a plastic bag.

The man was reportedly running toward a nearby apartment complex. Police swarmed the area and searched for the suspect with the help of police dogs.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call the Vancouver Police Tip Line at 360-487-7399.
