Altrusa grant helps get books to families

Hazel Dell — Altrusa of Clark County, a chapter of an international service club, gave $1,000 to Hazel Dell Elementary School to help support its annual literacy promotion, the Hazel Dell Exchange Extravaganza. Club members, including President Tina Smith, gave books to families at the school event. The grant came from the Altrusa Family Literacy Initiative.
