Military nurse, Clark College instructor joins Free Clinic board

Bagley Downs — Susan Nieman has joined the board of directors of the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington. Nieman, a registered nurse who holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing, is an instructor in the medical-surgical and psychiatric training programs at Clark College. She is also a registered nurse and training officer in the United States Reserve Army, and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2009-2010 and again in 2012 to provide mental health care for soldiers. She is a graduate of the nursing programs at Clark College and Washington State University.
