PORTLAND — Two men pleaded guilty Monday in Portland in the April 2011 death of a 14-year-old boy who found himself in the middle of a gang shooting near the Lloyd Center mall.

Jimmie Sanders-Garcia pleaded guilty to manslaughter and robbery, and Edward Mohr pleaded guilty to manslaughter and a gun charge. Sanders-Garcia was sentenced to 15 years in prison and Mohr to 20 years.

KATU reports they fired into a crowd of what they thought were rival gang members.

They killed Shiloh Hampton as the crowd scattered. Authorities say he was not a gang member.
