Letter: Step into another’s shoes to view

The Columbian
Published: March 15, 2014, 5:00pm

The March 9 headline read “Crimea’s new leader has a murky past.” Seeing the world from our own experience is normal.

“Thieves by Law,” a documentary with English subscripts, provides an opportunity to see it from the post-USSR-Russian experience and to better understand the post-USSR, including Ukraine. Similarities to other nations were not intended. A review is available on Amazon.
